D. Y. Patil College Hostel

College is a big adjustment, and you will come to rely on the friendship and support you will find in your roommate or your suite- or floor-mates, or from your resident assistant. It is where you will find someone to share a pizza with, watch your favorite show or host a late-night study session.

We can help you find your home away from home on-campus. D.Y.Patil owned two hostels are available, one each for male and female students.
The DY Patil Hostel is not only a place to live and study, but rather a place to interact with fellow students from different programs, form friendships and bonds which will be with you for your lifetime. Our Hostel is a place to interact on variety of topics, spark off novel and original ideas and share them with a wider community of like-minded brilliant and resourceful individuals. The Hostel environment encourages the residents to express themselves and build a sense of identity and community. Since the Hostel residents will be from variety of disciplines, it provides unique opportunities to foster collaboration and interaction amongst learners of these diverse disciplines.

The Hostel provides unparalleled ease of access to Knowledge City facilities and resources. The stylishly decorated rooms are a departure from standard hostel rooms. Our Hostel has a capacity around 500 students within its various residential schemes from a totally private room to traditional student housing - so there's a wide variety to suit all tastes and budgets. Fully automated, State-of-the-art kitchen ensures clean, hygienic, balanced and nutritious food for students. The Hostel consists of a common dining hall, a common recreation room with a T.V., and common bathrooms. All bathrooms have hot-water facility.
