"Imparting Value addition along with innovative approach coupled with practical knowledge should be the focus of educational Institutes" were the words of Lt Gen Ashok Kapur PVSM,VSM (Retd).He was addressing as chief guest in the National Level Workshop on accreditation process for technical institutes organized by D Y Patil School of Engineering at Lohegoan.

The two days workshop is being organized from today to focus on need of accreditation for technical Institutions. Lt Gen Ashok Kapur said that world class infrastructure and processes at ground level are the need of the day. To achieve this institute should organize seminar and workshops incorporating experts of various fields.

Two days workshop was inaugurated by . Lt Gen Ashok Kapur in the presence of chairman of ADYPU , Dr. Ajeenkya D. Y. Patil . The Chairman desired the university to become innovative with focus on student centric learning enhance by technology. He reiterated that student coming out from ADYPU will to India in becoming global power. The government has made accreditation process compulsory for technical institution.

On this occasion Director Dr.S.S.Sonavane , Dr. Sushant Patil ( Advisor ADYPU), Dr. N JayaSankaran ( Advisor NMIMS University Narsee Monjee Bengaluru) and eminent delegates representing various engineering colleges across the country were present.

The note of thanks was given by Dr. P. Kumbharkar after the inauguration ceremony .
