Dr. D.Y Patil Technical Campus has won "BEST COLLEGE PLACEMENTS AWARD (WEST)" under higher educational awards in the event of EdTechReview Summit & Expo 2019 held on 14 th and 15 th Feb, 2019 at Taj, Bangalore, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Ashok Kasnale, TPO Mrs. Shweta Sharma and coordinated by Prof. Sathish Kumar Penchala. EdTechReview Summit & Expo 2019 has explored themes in the global educational technology landscape. Sessions and Panel discussions has focused on mapping and meeting future demand for technology in education, the growth of edtech in India (and beyond), challenges faced by education entrepreneurs, and how they can stay relevant in the face of those challenges. The Summit has bought together 300 participants from various cities, representing government officials, education entrepreneurs, investors for an engaging exchange of ideas and best practices.

He is Pro-Chancellor of Dr. D Y Patil University at Navi Mumbai.
