The Department of Computer Engineering at Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2011 with an intake of 60 for Under Graduate course. The department was enhanced to conduct Postgraduate courses with an intake of 24 for ME [Computer Engineering] in 2012 and ME [Computer Networks] in the year 2013. The Department provides an outstanding state-of-the-art learning environment complemented by excellent teaching faculty.
Department is not only committed to academic excellence but also to groom the overall personality of the students by encouraging them to be capable enough to serve at the best of the organizations in the industry and have an attitude to generate employment through Entrepreneurship.
The department is keen about continuous improvement in the quality of education and research by enhancing the knowledge of students and faculty members to make them technically sound by arranging workshops, seminars and expert lectures. Department also provides a conducive environment by arranging sports events, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to make the students and faculty to feel at home.
